The Studio of New Aesthetics of the Prague FAMU - following the good tradition of its own nomadism - presents a new, rhizomatically active space for its activities and interaction with the audience. Terrarium. Far from the science of the 19th century and the colonization predilection for the transplant of the exotic. Close to today, the crisis of energy, economics, culture, society as a whole, the crisis of one's own identity and its gradual, cautious and leap-fast construction. Terrarium. Exhibition, performative, discursive or exchange platform with a regular program as well as an irregular presence. Terrarium. Place of presence. Where there is no technique. The internet is just a myth. And the zoom actually seemed to us. The activity of the Atelier of New Aesthetics was based on previous hosting in different institutions and interconnection within the pedagogical process and presentation of results. In the past, as a studio they have always spent a semester in Meetfactory, in the gallery World 1, City Surfer Office etc. The KP Gallery held regular studio meetings, guest presentations, lectures as part of the Seminar of Accidental Wisdom cycle, exhibitions of clauses in January 2022 and June 2022, and presentations of theses. At the same time, a large space was dedicated to the initiative of the students and their potential projects, knowing the openness and transparency of the space.

20 Sep — 20 Dec 2023
The PKC Gallery presents two projects from September to December 2023, led by Elpida's clients and created under the guidance of Eva Jiřička in 2021/22. The project Views with Memory consists of illustrations, photographs and poems of seniors who attend creative courses organized by Elpida. Each postcard has a personal description of the place and about 100 original Prague motifs were created for the first printing. Through twelve windows, the project “The Dozen” depicts the story of one day. The authors themselves chose the art technique and they tell us through a dozen scenes what Prague seniors experience from dawn to dusk. The works were created in 2021/22.
