Creative accelerator for gaming
We are preparing a physical space and support program for computer game developers. Thus, we will support the development of companies in the cultural and creative sectors with high professional qualifications.
Game development combines technology (software, virtual reality, artificial intelligence) with art (music, animation, screenwriting, game design) and business. Gaming increases interest in technical fields and generates qualified professionals for various technical industries. This is an area with global competition, which is why Prague wants to be among cities such as Berlin and Warsaw that offer similar programs.
What are the goals of the accelerator?
Creative accelerator for gaming will provide an attractive background for the digital gaming industry in Prague. His ambition is to:
- prevent brain drain from the field
- strengthen the competitiveness of the digital gaming industry;
- create new jobs with added value
- Enable cooperation between the non-profit, business and academic sectors.
How will the accelerator work?
The game accelerator should be located in the heart of Prague on the Small Square. It will offer both work and conference spaces so that accelerated subjects have peace of mind to work and for intensive mentoring. After verifying the functionality of the program in 2024, the accelerator should also offer events for the wider public and students and students.
