Get to know the Vltava Festival attracted 10,000 visitors and showed the river as the living heart of the metropolis!
In September, we also organized the first edition of the city festival Get to know the Vltava, which attracted thousands of visitors and confirmed that the Vltava is a vibrant cultural organism that unites residents and visitors of the city.
Commented walks, concerts, workshops, tours and programs for children were held in more than 70 places throughout Prague. Up to 50 partners participated in the festival, including the Stará čistírna in Bubenč, the National Theatre, the Ship of Mystery, the Gallery of the City of Prague and the Štvanice Hydroelectric Power Station.
Together we discovered how the river can connect culture, ecology, education and community life.
