The intergenerational project connects the pupils of the art circle Výtvarka!!! from the platform Do you have an artistic gut? and clients of the senior organization Elpida.
The exhibition explores air as a metaphor for connectedness - reminding us that we all breathe the same air that circulates between generations, species and worlds alike. It is both a personal and a collective theme — breath and exhalation as a quiet rhythm of life, sharing space, but also responsibility for it.
The exhibition was led by Eva Jiřička, Magdalena Hrubá, Tereza Šimková, Michaela Trpišovská and Tereza Šímová. Among the authors are senior women from Elpida — for example Vanda Babická, Lidmila Němcová and Miluška Hášová. The haiku that accompanies the exhibition was written by Jana Ruth Najbrtová in her distinctive style of healing Czech haiku.
Exhibit The air at a time is part of KP Gallery's long-term focus on socially engaged projects that foster dialogue between generations, communities and creators.
