Prague Chairs & Tables Celebrate Ten Years

This year, the Prague Chairs & Tables project celebrates ten years since its inception and commemorates the important role it plays in revitalizing public space in the metropolis.

Since 2016, in cooperation with the Prague Institute of Planning and Development, the project has been transforming streets, squares and parks into places where people can stop, sit and spend time together. Simple shared furniture has become a natural part of the city during that time and shows how much it can influence its atmosphere and the daily life of the inhabitants.

The round anniversary will be accompanied by a series of community and cultural events across Prague. The program will offer a variety of formats, from workshops to theater and performance to neighborhood gatherings or family activities.

Come and sit down, we look forward to seeing you!
